SCVFS provides clay and silt estimates comparable to a process-based erosion model. SCVFS only requires the sediment yield composition and rainfall erosivity as inputs. SCVFS R2 values ranged from 0.73 to 0.89 for clay and silt at every site. The performance of the model also corresponds to that observed in the literature. The model can be easily integrated into many existing soil erosion models.
