Natural convection problems over fixed and oscillatory cylinders are solved using Immersed Boundary Method. Effect of different parameters of oscillating circular fin, such as diameter, axis of oscillation, Rayleigh number, amplitude and frequency, on the heat transfer during Natural convection are presented. The thermal and flow patterns (i.e., thermal plumes, wakes, etc.) and their interaction with boundary layer are also presented.
