Nitrogen-compounds (NC) adsorption in real feeds was studied using five adsorbents.
Four commercial adsorbents and one metal–organic framework (MOF) were compared.
MOF has at least a NC adsorption capacity of 2.3 times higher than the others.
The NC adsorption rate was at least 2.4 times faster in the MOF than in the others.
MOF may treat at least 2.3 more fuel as mL/g than the others.
