We report an electrochemical sensor comprising of an array of 2-μm diam. ultra-microelectrodes.
We propose a novel ultra-fast measurement protocol (t < 5 ms) to monitor electro-active species.
The protocol is applied to monitor variations in dissolved oxygen concentration in solution.
Using ultra-short measurement times drastically reduces the oxygen consumed during the measurements.
