Nursing students have intermediate level of emotional intelligence at the beginning and end of academic year. Nursing students have a low level of critical thinking disposition at the beginning and end of academic year. There was positive correlation and medium level between students' critical thinking disposition and emotional intelligence. Measuring of the student's level of emotional intelligence and critical thinking is needed prior to entrance into the faculty of nursing. Emotional intelligence and critical thinking should be incorporated into the nursing curriculum in order to cultivate growth of the student’ emotional intelligence and critical thinking skills.
