The CFS beams achieved strength from 0.20 Mp to 1.0 Mp without stiffeners. The premature buckling is delayed when out-of-plane stiffeners are employed. Profile thickness has significant contribution to stiffness, strength and rotation. Flange bends delay its premature buckling, however, the web buckling is inversely affected. C-section has superior behavior over broken and curved sections; meanwhile, curved-section has superior energy dissipation over broken and C-sections.
