Flow dynamics in a 3-D full-loop dual-side refeed CFB are investigated by using LES-DEM. The transient pressure drop is a criterion for determining steady state in start-up process. The solid cycle time and SRT curves show a feature of early peak with an extended tail. The dual-side refeed structure improves gas-solid flow uniformity (i.e., homogenous).
