First ChIP-seq analysis of AR binding in fibroblasts. There are AR binding sites specific to prostatic fibroblasts, and AR binding sites shared with cancer cells. Instead of FOXA1, the AP-1 protein, JUN, appears to have a more important role in AR binding in fibroblasts. AR specific binding sites are present in whole prostate cistromes studies and need to be considered.
