In-situ microcosm measured fecal indicator and source tracking marker decay. Experiments were conducted during two seasons and at three depths in seawater. Three human source tracking markers decayed similarly across treatments (k ∼1.5 d−1). Fecal indicator bacteria decay rates varied with sunlight intensity and season.
