Electrochemical synthesis of Cu nanowire network on carbon fiber microelectrodes. Facile and green method utilizing metallic copper and ultrapure water as source material and electrolyte, respectively. Clean resulting nanowire deposit that exhibits high SERS enhancement. Successful SERS detection of designer drugs using the copper coated carbon fiber microelectrode.
