Urea-ammonium sulfate (UAS) and ammonium sulfate (AS) improved the growth response of cotton compared to urea. Compared to urea, UAS and AS had the largest aboveground, root, and total biomass in two of three years. Lint yield was also increased with UAS and AS in two of the three years, producing higher yields than with urea. Fertilizer source had minimal effects on fiber quality.
