ITZ layer model around regular polygon and ellipse are proposed. Systematic line sampling algorithm is used to estimate apparent ITZ thickness. Effects of particle shape and particle size are investigated. Regular polygon and ellipse under the same circularity conditions are compared. Overestimation of ITZ volume fraction and concrete diffusivity are evaluated.
