The digestibility of nutrients at the duodenum, ileum and total digestive tract of pigs was measured.

The digestion of the fiber and NSP fractions commenced to a considerable extent prior to the proximal duodenum.

Wheat bran showed higher digestibility of NDF and ADF at the proximal ileum than those of soybean hulls.

Exogenous NSP-degrading enzyme accelerated the degradation of the fiber and NSP fractions in the foregut of pig.
