Seven polymethoxyflavones were characterized from the gum resin of G. lucida. Xanthomicrol exhibited high DPPH and ferric reducing potential. Acerosin was found to exhibit broad spectrum anti-proliferative activity. 5-Desmethylnobiletin was observed as an effective inhibitor of ODC and CATD.
