Risk-aware short term hydro-wind-thermal scheduling using a probability interval optimization model

A probability interval optimization (PIO) model for short term hydro-wind-thermal scheduling (HWTS) is developed. An evolutionary predator and prey strategy (EPPS) is presented for solving the PIO model. A heuristic repair mechanism is developed to handle the complex constraints of HWTS. The reliability and applicability of the PIO and EPPS are examined respectively.
