A mathematical model for 2009 A/H1N1 influenza in the Republic of Korea is developed using daily incidence data. The government's nonpharmaceutical intervention is quantified by the mathematical modeling. Optimal intervention strategies of nonpharmaceutical and pharmaceutical controls are suggested.
