Tuning the band gap and optical spectra of silicon-doped graphene: Many-body effects and excitonic states

The electronic and optical properties of SiG systems are investigated. The electronic properties were analyzed at three levels of GW approach. The optical properties of these materials are investigated using the BSE approach. Optical properties of these systems strongly dominated by excitonic effects. Spectrum for these systems is dominated by strongly bound Frenkel excitons.
