Effect of rotary electromagnetic stirring during solidification of In-situ Al-TiB2 composites

Al-TiB2 metal matrix composites were synthesized by stir casting method by salt reactions. The composites were subjected to Rotary Magnetic Stirring during solidification in an AC coil. The effect of rotary magnetic stirring on size and distribution of TiB2 and the aluminum matrix were studied. Structure-property correlations have been made.
