Bacterial phyllospheric communities on Platanus x acerifolia leaves were studied. Biodiversity of bacterial communities decreased from April to July. Diversity of hydrocarbon-degrading populations increased from April to July. Atmospheric hydrocarbons might select phyllospheric populations in urban areas.
