SCOPe is a backward-compatible extension of the SCOP (version 1) database. SCOPe 2.06 includes manually curated structures from 126 Pfam families not in SCOP. SCOPe 2.06 separates cloning artifacts from the rest of the protein structure. SCOPe now contains double the number of structures as SCOP.
