We recorded event-related brain potentials (ERP) during Iowa Gambling Task in young and older adults. Behavioral results confirmed the presence of an age-related decline in risky decision-making. ERP results show that age is related to significant changes in feedback processing. P3 amplitude after negative feedback is significantly reduced in older adults. Findings suggest that aging is associated to a declined capacity to shift the attention from positive to negative information.
