The preparation of new 鈥淏CN鈥?diamond under higher pressure and higher temperature

The synthesis of new BCN diamond is investigated in a Fe-Ni-C system by the addition of h-BN under higher pressure and higher temperature. The properties of the obtained crystal are characterized by optical microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and Raman spectra. The results suggest that new BCN diamond can be prepared by temperature gradient growth, which provides a new clue for the preparation of B-C-N materials and will benefit to expand the potential application in science and technology.
