LCA of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area (LMA) food system was performed.

Dietary changes can reduce GWP by up to 22% and LU by up to 23.7%.

Eliminating losses and wastage in supply chain reduces GWP by 8.2% and LU by 7.3%.

Producing food within the borders of LMA further reduces GWP by 2.6%.
