Amino functionalized and polyethylene glycol (PEG) grafted nanodiamond (ND) embedded in CA membrane. The performance of nanocomposite membrane was investigated using MBR set-up and real wastewater. The CA/ND-PEG membrane surface formed a thin cake layer. Less EPS, e.g. carbohydrate, accumulated on CA/ND-PEG nanocomposite membrane.
