GS/BMP-4-induced Atg10 causes an increase in odontoblastic differentiation. Odontoblastic differentiation also requires Wnt5 and its receptor, Lrp5/Fzd9. GS/BMP-4 causes accumulation of autophagosomes in differentiated cells. Induced cell differentiation involves Atg10, Wnt5, and MMP-3 sequentially.
