Comparative study was conducted on thermal performance of gallium for CPU cooling. Gallium showed a superior thermal performance compared to nanofluid. Nanofluid showed reasonable thermal performance at low heat flux condition. Gallium remained at single-phase region during cooling process. Small penalty was reported for pressure drop for CUO/water.
