CCL2 is amongst key chemokines involved in pathogenesis of glioblastoma multiforme. CCL2 and it's receptor could aid producing and development of new drugs against glioblastoma multiforme. CCL2 secreted by tumor cells and a variety of immune cells can trigger angiogenesis and tumor cell proliferation.
