Glycodelin was purified from amniotic fluid for raising a glycodelin antibody. A sensitive glycodelin ELISA was established to determine glycodelin in serum. High molecular complexes were not found in amniotic fluid. Functional studies will be possible with native glycodelin carbohydrate structure.
