文摘

Peripheral membrane proteins (PMPs) participate in various cell functions from lipid transport to membrane signaling.

To fully understand the function of PMPs, combined approaches using experiments and computation are needed.

This review provides examples of the use of experiments and computation in understanding PMPs function.

A simulation case study of a lipid transporter (Osh4) is presented to show how it binds to yeast organelle model membranes.
