Investigating the suitable cross-linker for gelatin for tissue engineering application. Comparative analysis on different cross-linking mechanisms (physical, chemical and natural cross-linkers). Evaluating the favourable cross-linker in terms of physical, mechanical and biological behaviour. Dehydrothermal cross-linking treatment is economical and beneficial in obtaining promising scaffolds for tissue engineering. This study would serve as a source of information about different cross-linking strategies and their future prospective use.
