The effect of temperature, defect and strain rate on the mechanical property of multi-layer graphene: Coarse-grained molecular dynamics study

Coarse-grained molecular dynamics is used to study the mechanical properties of multi-layer graphene. The mechanical properties of multi-layer graphene tend to be less sensitive to temperature as the layer increases. Our study shows the mutilayer-graphene with SW defects distributed regularly is more stable than the system with defects distributed randomly. Graphene with different coverage of defects has been studied.
