A novel 3D NbO metal-organic framework has been synthesized solvothermally. The complex was characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, single-crystal XRD, PXRD, TGA and photoluminescent techniques. The rare distorted mixed-ligand interpenetrating mesomeric networks accommodate two individual heterochiral frameworks. The bulk materials of 1 display excellent fluorescent properties.
