We report the growth of La0.7Ca0.3MnO3 film on (0001) sapphire. The fixed growth orientation is achieved by controlling the substrate temperature. In-plane magnetic anisotropy is ascribed to the crystallographic alignment of film. [2—110]s and [01—10]s are strong and weak magnetization directions, respectively.
