The novel nesting tubular architecture produces noticeably higher current density. The nesting design provides more uniform distributions of current and temperature. The nesting configuration distributes the reactants more uniformly over the catalyst. The nesting shape enhances the stack performance while reducing its size and cost. The nesting tubular PEMFC is superior to the conventional design of PEMFCs.
