Positional isomerism-driven two 3D pillar-layered metal-organic frameworks: Syntheses, topological structures and photoluminescence properties

It is rarely reported that metal-organic frameworks prepared with 3,5-bis-oxyacetate-benzoic acid.

Two metal-organic frameworks based on positional isomeric ligands were synthesized and structurally characterized.

Compond 1 displays unique (3,5)-connected binodal gra topology.

Compound 2 exhibits (4,4,5,9)-connected 4-nodal topology based on the Zn(II)-K(I) heterometal rod-like substructures.

The photoluminescence properties of compound 1 and 2 have been investigated.
