Influence of low-level laser therapy on the healing process of autogenous bone block grafts in the jaws of systemically nicotine-modified rats: A histomorphometric study
The effect of LLLT and nicotine on bone reconstructions with bone graft was tested. Nicotine harms bone formation in the bed-graft interface. LLLT irradiation provides better bone healing. LLLT action can mitigate nicotine harms on bone healing.
