We tested whether anorexic gut hormones affected hedonic consumption in mice. Systemic gut hormone injection decreased hedonic-driven sucrose consumption. The same doses of the hormones did not produce conditioned taste aversion. Systemic gut hormones decrease hedonic sugar consumption without aversive effect.
