A newly developed kit for calprotectin measurement (Liaison® Calprotectin) was evaluated and compared to a well established and validated point of care test (Quantum Blue® - Alere-Bülhmann®)
All three procedures gave significantly different calprotectin levels (P = 0.05)
Optimal cut-offs (defined as the maximum sum of sensitivity and specificity) for detecting relapse amongst a Crohn's population in follow-up and their associated negative predictive values were also calculated
