Structural and dielectric properties of pure and Nb-doped BaTiO3 ceramics strongly depends on homogenization process in solid-state reaction method.

Ultrasonicated the powders at homogenization step is proposed for preparation of high purity BaTiO3 ceramics without zirconia and barium carbonate (BaCO3) impurities.

Ultrasonication improves the electrical properties of BaTiO3 ceramics reducing dielectric loss.

Using ultrasonication at homogenization step is helpful to obtain with the best electrical properties of the samples reducing the dielectric loss.
