This study provides an identification of the predictors of the long-term impact of FM on health-related quality of life. The study contributes to understanding that patients with symptoms of anxiety may benefit from a tailored treatment component. The findings of this study also suggest that early interdisciplinary intervention may help improve HRQoL in patients with FM.
