Greenhouse vegetable production (GVP) decreased soil environmental quality. Pollutants' accumulation in GVP soils increased environmental and health risks. High agricultural inputs and outmoded production capacity were technical factors. Lacked regulations, standards, and supervision systems were management factors. Efforts among stakeholders and integrated management strategies were required.
