Electrical power generation by squeezing continuous liquid flows is investigated. Streaming potentials/currents are the underlying mechanisms of energy conversion. Energy conversion efficiency remains the same for the two squeezing modes studied. Conversion efficiency and load current are increased as slip length is increased. Conversion efficiency can be increased or decreased as channel width is reduced.
