Hyalella azteca is affected by field-relevant concentrations of fungicide mixtures. Reduced feces production (=higher assimilation) is insufficient for compensation. Reduced reproductive performance in fungicide-exposed Hyalella. Potential for far-reaching consequences in heterotrophic ecosystems.
