Hard restricted trilinear decomposition (HrTD) was introduced for model-based analysis of three-way rank deficient data.

DNA hybridization was investigated by two-dimensional fluorescence spectroscopy and soft/hard multi-way techniques.

Restricted Tucker3 analysis enabled accurate estimation of pure FRET profiles in the hybridized form.

HrTD was successfully employed to estimate kinetic and equilibrium parameters of DNA hybridization system.

The performance of the proposed methods in response to different physical stimuli was successfully evaluated.
