PVDF membrane surface was modified by plasma grafting PAA and coating of ZnO. Photocatalytic and self-cleaning properties of the modified PVDF membranes were evaluated. PVDF-g-PAA/ZnO membranes exhibited enhanced hydrophilicity and permeate flux. PVDF-g-PAA/ZnO has a high prospect use in photocatalytic membrane reactor.
