Review different existing concepts for energy efficiency indicators (EEI). Develop a concept of EEI considering its deterioration behaviors for industrial domain. A new concept on remaining energy-efficient lifetime (REEL) is proposed. A generic approach is proposed to predict the EEI evolution and to calculate REEL. The proposals are validated through an application to a manufacturing platform.
