The loading-rate dependent tensile behavior of CNT film and its bismaleimide composite film

Tensile strength of the pristine CNT film decreases with loading rate increasing from 0.05 mm/min to 40 mm/min. The random CNT/BMI composite film and the oriented CNT/BMI composite film both exhibit a loading-rate strengthening effect. Polymer infiltration and oriented alignment of CNTs are found to weaken the loading-rate sensitivity of the CNT film.
