We employ ordered probit model to synthesize the literature on infrastructure and growth. The US studies are more likely to find a negative impact of infrastructure on growth. It is more likely to find positive effects of infrastructure on growth in the long run. Telecommunication seems to be the most effective type of infrastructure. Policy makers should always take into account the emergence of negative spillover effects.
