Interconnected reentrant microchannels (IRM) were developed. Flow boiling performance of IRM were compared to parallel reentrant microchannels (PRM). Enhanced heat transfer and mitigation of two-phase flow instabilities were demonstrated for IRM. IRM maintained more uniform stream-wise temperature than PRM.
