Two-echelon inventory problem with uncertain demand and perishable products. Inventory allocation and the vehicle routing problem solved simultaneously. Noticeable increase in profit by transshipments between retail stores. Great improvement in cases of high demand uncertainty and high procurement costs. More stores are visited and expected sales are higher than in resupply case.
